Tara Ozem is a french photographer and filmmaker based in Paris. Born in Brest, she grew up surrounded by a land steeped in legends, shaped by its raw landscapes and the ever-changing light of the Atlantic. She began taking photographs as a teenager, driven by an obsession with memory and a desire to preserve traces of reality. She later attended Gobelins, graduating in 2025.
Today, her visual universe is deeply inspired by folklore, memory, and inner narratives. Her work explores the tension between heritage and a contemporary gaze, creating spaces where reality can gently slip into the realm of the extraordinary. Drawing from fashion, fiction, and documentary, as well as strong Anglo-Saxon influences, she develops a narrative approach to image-making, building visual worlds where atmospheres, symbols, and fragments of stories intertwine.
